PORT HURON, MI — A 57-year-old Port Huron resident was critically injured on the morning of October 18, 2024, after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Pine Grove Avenue near Elmwood Street. The pedestrian was transported by Tri-Hospital EMS to McLaren Port Huron Hospital and later transferred to McLaren Macomb, where he is listed in critical condition.

The Port Huron Police responded to the scene, conducted a thorough investigation, and briefly shut down Pine Grove Avenue during this time. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
