CLYDE TOWNSHIP, MI — Thomas Jacob Hinkle, 44, of Clyde, was arrested by the Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. Hinkle faces charges of aggravated distribution and possession of child sexually abusive material and using a computer to commit a crime. The arrest followed an investigation that uncovered Hinkle’s distribution of illegal material online. He was arraigned in the 72 District Court on October 11. He will be back in court on October 22, 2024.
