Four Dead in Houston Helicopter Crash
HOUSTON, TX. – A Robinson R44 helicopter crashed into a radio tower in Houston on Sunday evening, killing all four people on board, including a child. The helicopter had been flying from Ellington Airport when it struck the tower, igniting a fire.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating the crash, which occurred during an air tour flight. Debris from the crash spread across a 4-acre area, but no residents on the ground were injured. The investigation is on going.
